Resthome, Hospital,
and Dementia Care

Promisia communities are certified and staffed to provide Resthome, Hospital, and Dementia Level Care. All communities cater to residents requiring palliative - end-of-life care and respite services.

Promisia communities are set in an area just a short distance from shops and services.

There are large lounge areas that lead out to either activity areas or courtyards for residents. The extensive courtyard areas include many quiet spots where residents can reflect or relax.

All residents have their own room which is a generous size. Some rooms open onto the courtyard areas and all rooms are well placed for facility showers. These services are all overseen and supported by Registered Nurses, Caregivers, and a senior Management Team.

Seamless Service

Most Promisia communities offer resthome, hospital and dementia care (community specific) when a resident is assessed at a higher level of care it is possible for them to transition without having to move sites.

Safe and Caring Homely Community

We pride ourselves on delivering care in a safe and caring environment, assisting residents to maintain their independence. Transitioning into care can be a challenging time, so to ensure the smoothest transition, the communities boast an authentic ‘home from home’ experience to help new residents settle. This allows you to bring your home into your new living environment.

Promisia does not have visiting hours, so we can support the home environment. We welcome families/whānau and friends to be part of our communities.

Well trained staff

Facility Managers all come with appropriate Management experience to ensure that the daily operational functions are met. Working alongside is a Clinical Manager who is responsible for care delivery. They are supported by Team Leaders, caregivers, service workers, administration team and maintenance.

There is an internal educational programme that supports each staff member's development. Caregivers have access to Careerforce - Level 2 to Level 7. All staff have access to external educational opportunities. Support is available for overseas nurses to complete their CAP course which enables them to register in New Zealand.
