As we age, there are a range of support services and care options available. This can range from support provided in your home through to moving into residential care. At Promisia we offer from independent living villas to assisted living care suites, including the following care services: resthome, hospital, specialist dementia, respite, young disabled (YPD), and palliative (EOL) level care.
Resthome Care
Resthome care caters to people who are largely independent
Resthome residents may require some support with personal care and general day-to-day activities. Residents tend to be active, engaged, and able to enjoy taking part in community life. Care support is available on a one-to-one basis and all meals and housekeeping is taken care of.

Hospital Care
Hospital care is provided for residents who have a significant disability and/or medical concerns
Expert assistance is delivered by a team of competent, caring nurses and caregivers. This team is supported by external GP services. Nurses and caregivers work to take care of your physical needs in a discrete and reassuring way. All meals and housekeeping is taken care of and an engaging activities program is on tap should you wish to join in.

Dementia Care
We offer specifically targeted services, specialist staff and secure environments to ensure maximum wellbeing and safety for residents with dementia
We adopt an individual approach that values the individual, understands their perspective and provides an enriched social environment.

Respite Care
Respite care services, are available to those in need of extra support or who are unwell (eg, recovering from an illness or hospital stay)
Respite care is designed as short-term support (a few days or weeks) and either gives your usual caregiver an opportunity to have a break or helps you get back on your feet after a period of illness.

Young Disabled Care
Care for Younger People with Lifelong Disabilities (YPD) is available for people under 65 who require support with self-care, mobility and/or communication

Palliative Care
For people nearing the end of their lives, specialist medical services and clinical staff are available to meet ongoing comfort and care requirements
We specialise in supporting people to work through their final days in comfort and with dignity. We work closely with medical specialists and family/whānau to ensure each person’s physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs are met.
