Village Coordinator

 Qualifications and Experience

  • New Zealand Diploma in Business or similar

  • Experience in a similar role and demonstration of appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in a similar environment.

  • Competent computer and IT literacy skills, full office suite of programmes; Word, Excel and Xero

  • Full NZ Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicles as required.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

  • Enjoy working with older people and their family/whānau.

  • Contributes positively to the culture at the Facility.

  • Understands information relating to a resident, other staff or Care Home business is treated as confidential.

  • Staff supervision with ability to recruit, train and motivate.

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.

  • A high standard of personal integrity, discretion and tact, maintaining confidentiality.

  • Good negotiation skills.

  • Ability to handle pressure.

  • Aptitude for identifying opportunities for improving performance.

  • Excellent communicator (at all levels).

  • Team player.
